1938: Costruzioni Meccaniche Amedeo Tajariol Today: TAJMAC-MTM Metal Turning Machinery.... ....but those who have known us for long know that there is no discontinuity between the old Milanese shop and the present-day multinational: it is the same company, grown with the growth of the Tajariol family, but grown without ever forgetting the philosophy that its founder established as the company’s own: “the success of our customers identifies with the success of our company”. This philosophy is the base of our constant search for new solutions to the ever more complex problems raised by our customers. To run a metal turning company today requires investments, in equipment and know-how, far larger than those of 1938, requires machines the performances of which would have been hard to imagine half a century ago, and, most of all, requires strong, direct relations with the supplier of the machinery.
A supplier who is more and more seen not just as such, but is considered an expert whose advice can be of great help in the difficult job of making a metal turning company prosper. Acquiring ZPS, the Tajariols extended their activities to other sectors of the machine tool world, (vertical and horizontal machining centres, gantry-type vertical milling and turning centre, castings, heavy machining and sheet metal products), but TAJMAC-MTM, the “heart” of the group, keeps investing all its resources in multispindle lathes: in their technical development, in the development of their attachments, in their marketing and servicing.

our pride: turn-key projects
TAJMAC-MTM and its branches pride themselves on their capability to supply turn-key multi-spindles.
The customer submits a drawing of the part, or of the range of parts, which he intends to produce, TAJMAC-MTM delivers lathes fully equipped to machine the parts, ready, immediately after their installation at the customer’s premises, to produce the parts in the quantities and within the tolerances specified by their drawings.

our concern: improving
The requirement to machine parts of ever more complex design and stricter tolerances, in addition to spurring TAJMAC-MTM to constantly improve the design of its machines, compelled it to develop a range of options and attachments which is now the widest among those provided by manufacturers of multi-spindle lathes. Thanks to the efforts of TAJMAC-MTM and of its associated engineering companies, the range of attachments never ceases to expand, at times being tailored to satisfy the single requirement of an individual customer.

our duty: servicing
TAJMAC-MTM’s duty, and that of its branches, is to service its machines speedily in any part of the continent. This duty is fulfilled not only by maintaining fully stocked parts and attachments warehouses, but, more important, by employing a group of highly skilled, strongly motivated service engineers whose commitment to their duties is one of the prides and strengths of the company.
